The Telephone
the telephone was created by Alaxander Graham Bell in 1875. prior to the phone, people would send letters and meet them in person to talk with one another. with the phone invented, people didn't have to do that, now they could speak on the phone from their home or payphone. this would have a huge impact on the world.
the telephone was a device that would take a sound or a humans voice, and converts it to an electrical impulse which could be sent to another phone to be converted back to the original voice or sound. it became historically important because it gained popularity over many years. people used telephones often and it eventually became so popular that almost half of America's population used telephones by 1920. the telephone would create many room for improvement and opportunity for innovation for the future.
